Working with Nova Ukraine, the second-largest humanitarian aid charity focused on helping Ukrainians amid the war with Russia, felt like being handed the reins to a creative juggernaut. From building their brand identity and crafting marketing campaigns to managing paid media and social media blitzes, I was in the thick of it. Designing their website and creating fundraising pages was like sculpting digital lifelines. Leading the media strategy while collaborating with an incredible team, I dove into partnership decks, media pitches, press releases, and collaborations with UNICEF, Uber, Meta, Airbnb, and even CNN. It was a wild ride, especially during a media crisis, but getting hands-on with everything was an adrenaline rush. My design, writing, and campaign strategy brain went into overdrive, and seeing the impact made it all worthwhile. Turning creativity into a force for good? Yeah, I’d sign up for that again in a heartbeat.
